Our official launch date is FINALLY here and I am so excited to show off the Sugar Bit shop. It's been a real "labor of love"...an idea that has been in the back of my mind for so long now and here it is, April 2014, and we have hit the GO button. It's been months and months of brainstorming and planning sessions, creating a brand that speaks to what we're wanting to accomplish and how we hope to stand out in the market, and provide our customers with a unique and exciting shopping experience all at the same time.
A little bit behind the brand, Sugar Bit: I wanted to create an online boutique that offered collections of distinct children’s clothing brands for the sensible shopper, while preserving characteristics synonymous with Southern Hospitality in every aspect of our business. I hope you will come in, take a peak around, and my hope is that you will be able to see the true Southern Hospitality we embody... from the products we carefully hand select to the love and detail we put into each package we ship to our customers. Receiving a package in the mail is something I have always looked forward to, and our promise is to make each package special.
Our mission is simple: We want to be known for our Collections and Care, and make the world a little more charming, one outfit at a time.
Here is just a sampling of some of the goodies we have in stock... from baby gifts (bibs, burp cloths, pacifier holders, bags, and such) to adorable children's wear for everyday play, swim sessions, special occasions, and sleeptime, we have you covered!
In addition, we would appreciate all your support, likes, thumbs up, subscriptions, pins, tweets, etc on our various social media accounts, which you can find here:
And of course, I want to say a HUGE thank you to some pretty special people, for without them, this wouldn't be possible:
Audra Wait and Shane Ivey, the masterminds at Noble Sidekick. They comprise our ingenious marketing/branding/advertising team and they have been an absolute joy to work with. I am SO thankful for your time, wisdom, patience, and all your help in getting here. You are a wonderful team and you have made this process incredibly fun and I am fortunate to get to work with you.
Candice Stevens, my incredible friend and photographer. You have helped me work through the tricky parts of capturing all our inventory and were so patient with me through each step of this launch. I owe you big time and I am indebted to you!
Alex Hudson, our nanny/babysitter/Sugar Bit extraordinaire. You've been with us for a year now and the chaos still ensues. You have been there in the trenches, helping care for my girls when I have had to travel, work late, and even helping me with the nitty gritty details of launching a business. I hope you know how much our family loves you.
My Family and Friends. What started out as a crazy dream has transpired into something real and you have been instrumental in that process. You've guided, comforted, advised, and given me plenty of well wishes to know that I could do this and to follow my heart. I can't thank you enough for all the support that you have offered and I am forever grateful. (big thanks especially to Mom, Dad, Meg, Bev, Aaron, Andrea, and Lauren)
Jeff, Caroline, and Carson. Last, but certainly not least, I have to thank the three people that comprise my inner circle, my sweet little family, and the reason I get up day in and day out. I wanted to do something for me, but I wanted to do something for our family and to show my girls that you can be a mom AND have a career. Jeff, thank you for the unconditional love and support you have provided throughout this endeavor...you have been my biggest champion and the person that has reassured me that no matter what happens, you love me. That's all I need and I love you babe. To Caroline and Carson, I hope you know how much I love you and how my role as mommy will ALWAYS come first. I love you the mostest in the whole world my little minis.
